Yeah, given our previous efforts, that is not a given.

Nice catch by MJ to dismiss KP , who hasn't fired at all so far
41 again today
I think the Pom's might have blown it again…7 down now and still a long way behind. Some very good bowling so far has kept the pressure right on.
They will be bowling again within 30 mins or less the way this is going.
Nearly over can't bat , can't bowl only sent their "B" team
Gotta laugh at Mark Nicholas never played test but great on giving advice lol
Don't we go back in if we get them today??
Aus to bat till lunch tomorrow and try and set them a target of 400 with a day and a half to play. Pitch is turning, fast bowlers are firing. It is a very big hill to climb for the Poms now.
a good bat today and the ashes return
can just about see the "ashes" in the cupboard.
Now to lobby the MCC to release the "real " ashes Urn
and give it to the rightfull owner Australia. The yanks gave up the
America's cup after 132 years
Warner's making runs but doesn't look very convincing. But he is still in.
Just got out of my pit, turned the radio on and what a shock. Getting spanked again.
What an utter shambles this team are at the moment.
ade ita ashame you didn't get to see broad getting a sandshoe crusher
No doubt it hurt, even in slo-mo it hurt lol.
agree things go in circles, but what happened to the dominating West Indies sides of
yesteryear. Cricket is controlled by the Indians IMHO
I`m going to bed now, fully expect the Ashes to be won when I wake up.
By you lot, I hasten to add.
What the hell is all this crap with Broad, so he didn`t walk, so what, like some of yours guys have never done the same?
The Aus media is as pathetic as ours was about Ponting.....stupidly and wrong to asinine extremes.
Get a grip guys, it doesn`t really matter.
At least the guy shows some bottle.
It's the umps. There was a few which they pulled up 10m from the pitch to check the no balls..
Bs in my opinion. The 3rd umpire should only review if asked, not every wicket..
Surprising 100 coming up for Watson.
Well done, now how long till declaration.
@ Fracster IMHO I think they have stuffed the game with all the rule changes, don't get me started on 20/twenty what a joke.
Should have left the game the way its always been with HUMAN ERROR being part of it.
Walk or not to walk who gives a shite its up to the bowling side to convince the central umpire he IS out.
Love the hi heel xray too rlmfao
Bell & Anderson stuffing that catch just summed up the state of mind of the POM's at the moment. That was a sitter. Not that it will matter….
What's going on with England's fielding its like they ve given in and decided its all over now I'll stop trying
How good was that over??? Anderson smashed by Bailey for 28 off one over. Love it!
BANG! Bowled first ball! Won't be surprised if this is all over tonight.
Pow... Right in the kissa..
BOOM BABY BOOM 28 off one over , dropped catches, This test has the lot, poms are packing up ready to go home, lucky for them its not Pakistan
nowhere to run nowhere to hide, dirty great big plumbers crack running down the middle of the pitch.
It could get very dangerous out there if they start hitting the cracks
The whole walking thing is crap.
In my 25 plus years of playing competitive cricket I have never walked. I have been on the wrong end of that many shocking umpiring decisions that I take the good with the bad and even then the odd one or two that go in your favour never make up for all the bad calls that don't.
And this pre-occupation with checking no balls after a wicket.....WTF? Total rubbish. The umpire should be paying attention to every ball and they are not. I have seen a number of replays of balls bowled (Australian and English) that were no balls during an innings that were never called. It promotes lazy umpiring. I say ban checking for no balls unless referred by a batsman.
I'd be curious to know whether the average number of no balls called in a game has changed. I'd be willing to bet it has decreased on average and we have the referrals to blame because the umpires just don't bother watching the front foot any more.
Ooooh oh, 3 for 85.
@ Drewboy where did you play cricket I played for Aberfeldie Park for many years
