That is some serious ring sting I think I will be setting my alarm just to make sure I bomb the dunnies before those who decide to try the chillies.
bahahahaha this must be on video, what a crackup lol
6 more days to go , 6 more days to go tra la la laa la 6 more days to go!!!!!
I worry about you sometimes... :-)
But yeah 6days 6days!!!!
How far is this park from thomastown ?? Would it be worth it to drive down, go for a bash and drive back ?? This is my first 4b and i have never been 4wdriving and i would love to come and meet you guys and girls and see how its done!!
Took me an hour and a half from Mill Park bud. Towing a trailer and taking it easy. Also your probably best getting broken in with fellow members who know what they are doing rather than going out with a few mates for the first time. I haven't done it in years myself so it will be a good refresher for me.
Sounds good, fingers crossed i can knock off early and head down. My trol is bog stock and running on A/T's so if i get the chance to swing down i would probably just spectate unless the plumbs kick in and i get the sudden urge to get bogged haha
Woohoo, not long to go now!
Is anyone bringing their families?
Misses and Mia are considering joining us but want to check what other kids and wives are coming?
I take it that she didn't like it.
No mate she had a brilliant day... so much so I wish there was a way she could come next Friday...

Ahh. Well I have some good new and some new I don't know what to think of it. I reckon I can go for Saturday night too now. My demonic wishes worked. But I think i have broken, cracked, I dunno something in my left hand. I've had this ache just on the right side of the bird finger knuckle for a week or two now. Well today its gotten pretty sore and I can't even lift anything and I have no grip in that hand now. Mrs Palmer will have to be a righty for a while now, anyhow it's just started to swell up, now the ache is always there. Drove today but it hurt like hell to even change gears. Ringing the doc first thing in the morning to get it checked out.
I fractured my foot last weekend but all's good, not gonna stop me. Hurts a bit but nothing to complain about, just look like a gimp when I walk now.
Good news and bad news???
You know you will be sent for xrays..
So what time do you want to leave Friday??
Yeah the prob is I am busy all week. I reckon lunchtime'ish would be good?
Good news is that I reckon I can stay for two nights now. About 80% good for that. If not, I can stay later on Saturday and get some wheelin' in.
Just wondering I think i read something bout the sat night cookup not happening, is it still happening.
Feeding the chooks too much I reckon.:tease: I remember a couple of weeks back working on the old girl and trying to get a 17mm nut undone. I had the racthet on and was hitting the ratchet handle with my left hand. I do remember my palm area bruising up and being a bit sore after that. I'm assuming thats whats caused it. Hoping it's not the start of arthritis. I had Ross river fever 20 years ago and back then they thought I had arthritis. That was painful. 6 weeks of over inflated joints and pain.
Shouldn't affect my weekend though. Just don't want it to get any worse as I can't afford to not be working too.
I am counting on the Cookup being on. I don't think it's been cancelled.
There was a comment on the Club Membership thread but I definitely did not take anything from that about it being cancelled.
Nah cookup is still on everyone, I am still organising it.. Will be getting roasts, fresh cut Friday morning all ready for the Saturday night
Fletcha
We should have plenty mate.
.........on the move
Yeah good I want to leave here about lunch time, Not sure when Pete is leaving from Ringwood and if I am meeting him on the way.
At least you can get a day of 4wding in.... if you need a hand changing the wheels over or anything give me a yell as dont need you to hurt your wittle hand anymore.
Hi All,
Weather forecast is looking good for the weekend except we are going to get some rain this week and the tracks will be muddy and slippery by the looks of it.
We will have to split the Saturday driving into two teams by the looks of it.
1 team will be venturing out into the more steeper climbing and more rutted out tracks/holes where a minimum of 2" lift and 33" mud tyres are essential for those tracks.
The second team with the all terrain tyres and stock vehicles will not be able to get through some of those tracks so it has been suggested for two convoys needed.
Just chatted to some of the guys and we have plenty of room in our vehicles for people to jump in so if you have stock patrols and road tyres I suggest doing this or if you are keen for some driving in the area we will have to split the group in two.
On the Friday night we can all look at the maps and work out some routes for both groups anyway.
Poor Mudski gunna have a quick education, I'd recommend minimum 3ply toot paper, or hand towel.
If someone can drop over they can grab my stuff by will need back asap as going to Cod opening the following week. as cooking for 10 I think, can borrow angthing I have but better make it snappy as startiting i pac for my fishing trip.
How many ovens do we have....
I have a large oven to bring as well as my big Bunnings table.
