Also I didnt lock it when it shat itself. Its whatever actuates the latch, not necessarily the "locking" part of the equation

Don't break the bloody drill in the door, growler. That would make it near impossible to fix the latch.

It's all plastic what I'll be drilling into from what I can tell looking at the new one so hopefully I can't stuff up that badly. But thanks for planting the seed of doubt hahAhaha
