No doubt... I got absolutely rotten on it last Friday night! A good power spew at 5.30 the next morning and I was feeling GREAT =)

Just got back from a week up Barrington tops. Fantastic trip, had a blast and the car performed extremely well with the new tyres and suspension.
Couldn't be happier. :D
At 5:30am, I went outside and I couldn't see the dog. Grabbed my torch and did a 'patrol' of the fence line and no holes - so where's the dog?
I found it tucked up in the corner of its kennel. It didn't even get out of bed to say good morning. I'd say it had a 'shocking' experience or two,
and won't forget me in a hurry.
Problem solved! Should have bought the fence years ago!
Now to tell the wife. lol
Week finished!!!!
Not me. I push threw. Heading out hunting at 2
What made me happy today was that i was told yesterday morning that i was a conteder for a heart attack or stroke again ive got an excellent doc who doesnt muck about if she thinks something is not right
spent a few hours in hospital having tests and poked and proded to be told all is well
so im very happy to be writing this today
Onya, roofy. Good to hear.
What made my week was I got the engine pipe replaced on Wednesday, but the manifold/ engine pipe gasket let go this morning.
I took the Old Trol back to Matt at the exhaust place and he told me to bring it back at 4.
I got there at 1/2 3 and he got started on it. All three studs broke when he tried a new gasket.
The problem was the engine pipes weren't welded square to the flange and were fouling the manifold.
Matt stripped of the manifold, drilled tapped and replaced all three studs and modified the engine pipes to fit.
He finished the job at 1/2 6. He was going to get a credit from the engine pipe manufacture so there was no extra charge to us!!
If you are touring around this great country and you find you have need of an exhaust repair, definitely go to Portland Exhausts and you will get the job done right.
My kids, they have got together this week while mum is in perth..made sure I had a hot cuppa every smoko break and even made me polony sandwiches for lunch each day,i have had to work while they stayed at home, they are good on a uhf that's for sure...they have done the washing, swept and vacumed the floors and got the house to a state where mum will be happy when we pick her up on sunday....oh what a week.....so glad to have kids that pull there weight when the chips are down( I should note that my kids don't get pocket money)but I may have to spoil them with a milkshake or a meal next trip to town..Thanks Ebb and Bella
Good stuff wa. Do you hire them out?
I am happy I got a new laptop today.
Got a HP I7 with 16G Ram.
Took a while to make Windows 8 useable, had to download a couple of programs to make it act like Windows 7.
I think Windows 8 user interface must have been designed by a 10 year old.
Not so much just today but the last few months.
My mechanic done some work recently on my crappadore and allowed me to pay the bill off in installments rather than in one go :) Also bought a new belt and tensioner of him last week and done the same with payments, makes it so much easier on the budget :)
not long home from the movies with jane and grand daughter Olivier 3yrs WOWshaun the sheep really really good
It's actually raining instead of useless drizzle.
tradespeople turning up to do works at my house and doing a very good job . All coming together nicely .
Read the what has made you angry thread BA . explains the situation . Winnie my entire front yard is getting a revamp . New front brick fence , new stormwater pipes, driveway removed and widenened , footpath and walkpath from the footpath to the front verandah , retaining wall on side boundary and new side fence. A big project mate.
Forecast rain & cold change also held off here all day whilst I was out doing my Fwd Vic proficiency course. Tracks were damp but not too much so to make the going too slippery. That made me happy. Finding the stall-stop/key start on hills easier than I had imagined was pretty good too.
Finally finished setting up my reversing camera for the VMS X506 in dash unit in my 2008 GU Troll. I used I CMD17N from Parkmate and it tucked away nicely underneath the Patrol badge in the left barn door.
Next step will be a rapid chip and possibly an intercooler upgrade with A.R.E Intercoolers.
Now I'm having a few golden ales.
Cheers!
Beer...... fockin lots of it :D
My 8 year old just beat the crap out of me in a game of chess, showing a significant leap in problem solving and analytical thought.
I couldn't be happier.

Yeah, not bad, was basically an intro to 4wd course so most of the stuff covered I already knew..... yours will be more advanced I’m sure. I did learn a couple of important & useful techniques, but it was also good just to get some more experience on the club track & out in the bush. I found it good to have instructors sitting in the car & advising. MrsTea is going to do the course in October once she’s familiarised herself with driving the Patrol on the road & had a few lessons from Cameron (cgm) out in the bush (he’s a good teacher). The course is 3 hours one evening of basic theory & then a day of driving on the track & out in the bush.
A friend up here used to run the CFA off road training for tanker drivers, some of it sounded fairly hairy, so I reckon it might be right up your street!

Probably not as good as AB, but better than the local pizza shop.
Finally got the Nizzbits air con filters fitted--not 15 minutes though-more like an hour but all good;
With completed NADS, I reckon I'm done (or not)
Got my tickets to AC/DC!
