So if I take one of the examples above I'd be up for $35 + $30 (3 kids) = $65 per night......
For an unpowered site I reckon that's a bit steep.....pretty annoying you pay extra for kids....

You'd reckon a site would be for a family of 4 at least wouldn't you. yes i agree at $65 a night its expensive for sure! being the busiest week of the year you will pay a premium anywhere though and you wont get a motel room for less that double that on a good day! likely triple that in the same week id reckon.
Might look at hiring a CT again if we're base camping it...

Yea unfortunately down here being a tourist destination they sure make it worth it during the peak season...
If we hit up the cape jaffa park kids under 12 are free so I think that covers most of us.
The only thing with jaffa is we have to be out Friday..
Just googled Cape Jaffa and its not too far North of Robe. Could be good mate! 200m from teh drive on beach and down to Robe. I am liking it.
This is sounding very good to me. it sounds like it would be 2 large groups of 10 with no scattering of singles unless there were more than 20 cars. Its just North of Robe with direct beach access and Kids under 12 are free so this soounds pretty good to me.Quote:

OK so the dates are changing too. Book from 1st to the 9th. this will give folks the weekend at home before they go back to work. The 1st is a Thursday and the 9th is the following friday. Nice break.
Book it in Westy and i will change the first post and advise all to make the call and get their names into the park mate.
Growler might get down for a couple of days too!
