82 year old mother drove the 70+ km round trip to the local supermarket. shop had been cleaned out. shop full of non locals and car park with 2 busses in it.
that's a real "I don't give a ship about anyone else as long as i get what I want, fingers up to you" ...
I’m still here folks, I’m so sorry I haven’t been as active as I should be but as some of you know it’s been a very rough road for a many of years!
Good news is there is light and it’s coming and I’m looking forward to more meets and more active here :)
Not long to go!

Despite the 'WATERPROOF' marking, these breakers are definitely NOT waterproof - at best they are splash-proof.

I had mine fail recently. I dismantled it by drilling out the 4 rivets and the inside was badly effected by moisture and the contacts were all gunked up. I cleaned it up and got it working well again - at least until I fit a replacement.
There is a rubber membrane which almost seals the workings but the problem is the shaft of the little lever passes through this membrane, hence the leak as the seal is very poor.
Mine was claimed to be IP67 which is safe up to 1m depth. It was never immersed, just splashed or sprayed a little. Might look at making a little cover for the new one as mine is mounted flat.
Hmm. Good to know.
I have the same one that I was going to replace with the 150 amp one, but thinking about it mine is on the back of the fridge cage. If that was to get wet I would be in serious trouble.
