Scored a decent dedicated map Androidy from JB HiFi this afternoon for under $200 smackers, downloading Hema now and will get Rossco’s help again to upload HC Rooftop maps from Drewboys awesome scanned/triangulation efforts on here years ago [emoji106][emoji106]

Memory Maps ROCKS Tryan277 Mate [emoji106][emoji106]
We/Me might have just been stirring the pot for a Legendary Member/Resident [emoji23]
I’ll try and find the link to the Rooftop Maps upload instructions for you now that was kindly made by Drewboyaus Legendary Member years back.....5 mins [emoji1696]

DIY: Scan, calibrate and import a Rooftop Map for use in Hema/Memory Map software

Yep
that set of instructions/guide is great. A little bit out of date now with updates to memory maps program but with a little bit of thought you can work it out.
The hema maps license can be used across the 5 device memory maps license as well - bargain in my view

A couple of quick examples photographed off my backup paper Rooftop Maps as to why they are so trusted throughout the Vic - High Country:

Heaps of additional off track sites and points of possible interest and when old mate lists, “Do not attempt without serious recovery gear” he really means it [emoji23]

Cheers Mr Mark Mate!
I’m a complete techy nuffy too and relied on Rossco last time around to kindly set up the old icrapple pad 2, loving the slightly smaller size of the Samsungy also, hoping for better track pinch windscreen visibility too if that makes sense[emoji106][emoji106]
I believe you’ve owned those awesome type ‘Ram Mount’ holders before Mate?
Thinking about a bicycle handle bar type clamp for this setup coming off the passengers GQ Jesus bar instead of a suction cup and or vent clasp crap I can only so far find tonight?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah I'd love to grab some of those rooftop scan he has...
As for the Rammount.
I used this tablet mount.
https://www.mounts.net.au/collection...0-inch-tablets
and this vehicle mount. Which bolts to the front passenger seat mount.
https://www.mounts.net.au/collection...ms-for-1-balls
Just can't remember the final bit which attaches it to the seat mount.
SOLD, really appreciate that Mark, has been doing my head in honestly [emoji120][emoji106][emoji106]

If you want to use the Jesus handle in the GQ, what about a quad lock universal adapter https://www.quadlockcase.com.au/coll...ant=4273642693
and something like a bike handle bar mount? https://www.quadlockcase.com.au/collections/shop-mounts
I agree. Cannot beat Rooftops Marko mate! It's always best for resorting to teeny details.
One day might take my lot to work and use the large scanner to digitize. My navigation go-to bundle needs severe downsizing. Paper maps, books, large Hema rollup high coutnry maps. I've been using the Hema Explorer app ( the new version is s#ithouse), so looking out for somethign new. Also been using the Newtracs app for user-fed track conditions, which have been rather accurate during a few of my recent Dissa/Tallarook day ventures.
Might also have a geeze at Memory map as kindly suggested above and go from there...

New love for shortys seeing this today to be honest.
The room in the back is insane and the back seat folding tight up to the front seats leaves enough room for a party of gear.
Yes the rollover factor if extreme trips but a pretty cool little machine Nissan made.
Suss out the extra tank Mb, could be a winner with that!

340,000km Plassy Mate, the TB42 popped its lid a couple of years ago and instead of repair had a reco TB45 dropped in. It’s legitimately registered with the TB45 now as in Victoria this is not classified as an engine conversion requiring all that engineering caper due to it being exact OEM <>OEM configurations/bolt in with under 20% power increase [emoji106][emoji106]

These monsters were sitting just inside the front door when I got back from site - wife couldn't move the cartons any further and had been hopping over them for a week - no doubt I will get a chew out over that, but they go on Wednesday, looking forward to being able to pull the barge up - finallyAttachment 83513
