Got a bit bored this arvo, so decided to pick up this set to start cutting down on some weight in the truck with tools. I think its a good compromise and teamed with some other stuff is heading in the right direction. Actually picked it up on special at Adelaide tools for $286. Happy days, need to get busy now or I am going to broke by the end of the week at this rate!

The bahco combo ratchet spanners are great for the weight saving. (If you don't already have them). Each spanner has 4 different sizes in. And I believe they come in a set of 5. So you only need to carry 5 spanners for 20 different sizesQuote:

Finally bought myself a 18v rattle gun. I can now undo 6 x wheel nuts while bent over, in less than 60 seconds and not feel stuffed.
Finally scored a series 2 RB30 crankshaft. Got a few other goodies off the engine too. Now I can get the old engine rebuilt and it can be a spare.
Watched a Street Machine vid yesterday. They showed an RB 2.8 stroker motor, hit 9800rpm and it made 1614HP. 55psi boost.
Something to aim for Craig ;-)

The other day an old school chum of mine faced a pretty annoying problem - his house got infested with mice. So I ordered him an ultrasonic repeller :) at first wanted to buy some poison but he has 2 kids so we thought that buying poison is not the best option in these circumstances.
Picked up a set of drive flanges and grease caps. I carry a spare FWH but reckon if I explode one then something else a bit stronger is needed to get me home. I purchased via Parts ouq and saved a bit instead of via ebay. Totaled at $305USD including shipping 3-7 days.

Tentworld has been absolutely flogged mate, we tried matching cheaper swag options to stretchers and couldn’t get a decent size match.
Just said stuff it after about an hour and got this Oztent all in one, stretcher/swag/mattress and she was nearly able to setup herself on first shot [emoji106][emoji106]

Not today but last Friday I bought my first ever brand new car. Yes it's not a Nissan, or even a patrol but I am satisfied that my purchase will see me through for at least the next 7 years. Comes with 7 years unlimited ks warranty, 7 years road side assist and 7 years capped.price servicing at $395 a pop every 15000ks. It is very large and luxurious.pretty much I think the Koreans do make a bloody good car. And no, this one isn't powered by Mercedes, it's all in-house design though that shouldn't be a worry due to the warranty and servicing costs. Oh and did I mention. It's massive!!! 1600x1600 internals on the tub. That's big for a dual cab. also gets mad flex bro lol. its a ssangyong musso mate, they re-entered the market in 2018 and are trying to knuckle into the suv market. personally i dont think their cars are as ugly as the 90s models so yeah. the musso is simply a ssangyong rexton, with an extended chassis, extended wheelbase and the boot cut off and replaced with a tub. so it has all the luxuries of a prado sized suv with the practicalness of a ute. cannot complain about that!Quote:

Drive flanges arrived today, less than 7 days from overseas, cant argue that the services are not available - just have to use a courier instead of government postal services.
