Yeah. Just some bearing grease on the lips of the seal just like any other lip seal. I had issues with one I did from not enough lube, put a little extra on and all was good and is still good.

Always pays to lube tight things George... (facepalm)
A touch of rubber grease helps while Its bedding in..

I used 400 grit wet and dry with petrol as lube. Didn't have time to paint it. I'll be painting it with 2pack when i get the time.

While its still on the hoist might just pop it off and put some on, i have proper seal grease that i have left over frome timing belt kits

Just took the other side off to have a look and thats buggered aswell... FFS!! On the phone tomorrow to sort these bananas out.

Must have been coz i didn't lube it up and one of my motto's is a little lube never hurt no body ;)

Just looked at some of my old posts (especially my members ride pages) and the embedded links to the Google web albums links are not pointing to the pictures any more. Probably something to do with the crap of moving to Google +. I'd like to ditch it all and maybe just upload - what a pain in the arrrs as now it would take me ages to work out which pics were which.

Strange, I notice that the ones on my Water/Mud thread (as per sig) are still visible?? Hardly have time to read and make a few posts, don't need to have to redo things just coz of Google. :mad:

Original idea was to load them to Google so I could link to them here or other places. Might have to start uploading pics to the forum instead.
