Google's ok, but I'll keep things rolling
It's Hammersley Gorge, one of easier to access gorges for folk who don't like walking/rock scrambling too far.
Over to you Ben.

Try this one for size.

Berry springs . .
Nope. Not Berry Springs.
Lawn Hill?
Yep. Adelle's Grove, Lawn Hill.
Water was bloody freezing, but irresistible all the same.
Yours...
Ditto that on the water. Don't know where they hide the refrigeration plant, but it must be there somewhere...
How about this one?

Looks like a bridge I saw up in the Paluma Ranges, Qld, on the Mt Spec Road, over the Little Crystal Creek.

Ummmmmm... yep. That's pretty precise there Cuppa!!!
(I'll try for something a little more obscure if/when I get my next run... :-) )
All yours...
Thanks Uncle.
Here’s one for the geographic sleuths.

The junction of Kennedy Highway and Gunnawarra Rd Mount Garnet.
Spot on TPC, well done. I just looked at it on Google maps streetview - seems they've sealed the road since I was there in '08.
Your turn.
This one should be easy.

My house? Nah, hang on, can't be - this one's in better nick...
Somewhere in SA is about as close as I’ll get. Perhaps in the Quorn/Hawker area?
Near Burra SA and apparently on a Midnight Oil album cover, which I didn't know before.
This one shouldn't cause too much trouble.

I'll take a punt on Meckering.
Good punt. Your on
Just a lucky semi-educated guess. Probably driven past 100 times or more, but never stopped in to check the place out. Have to take a more leisurely drive up/down the highway one day...
How about this one? (apologies for poor quality - digital photo of a hard-copy photo taken back in the day before digitals were affordable...)

Mossman Gorge
Behana Gorge?
Murray Falls?
No, but you've now bounded the southern end of the search area! Between your guess and @FNQGU 's guess.
It's known for not being "friendly" to visitors...
tully gorge
or Cedar Creek
@Avo, neither of them.
"came for a visit and stayed forever" applies to at least 17 visitors in the last 50 years to this place...
The Boulders, Innisfail?
Tully Gorge?
haha - Babinda!
Just got the clue. Re the drownings in the swimming holes there.
Yep - @TPC named The Boulders first, so was going to give it to him, even though Innisfail is a fair way away... but Babinda is closest town. Well done to you both tho'!
Was just sorting out a better photo (borrowed from interweb) that looks downstream from the lookout (rather than upstream in my photo). Here it is...

Guess granite gets sculpted like that with over 4m of rain falling each year. Also amazing how the water just disappears down holes in some places. No wonder so many people drown here!
Edit (other name is Devil's Pool) - The Boulders themselves are further upstream and quite safe for swimming.
Over to you TPC...
Ha ha. The “not friendly to visitors” clue put me off track. I thought about Babinda, but discounted it as I thought of the place as being quite visitor friendly because they provide two free camps - we stayed in both - one close to the Boulders, & one off the highway close to town. The “came for a visit and stayed forever” applies to at least 17 visitors in the last 50 years to this place... went right over my head, but now I get it. :)
