Your electric pumps a facet pump by the sounds of it & really need to be positioned at the same level as the bottom of & as close to the tank in order for them to work... It should do the job though...

The carby can be re-kitted under &20 & are as simple as to do on an XM

So, if the engine is a 200 or 250 ( not sure which) but has a 170 carbi on it, would that make it starve for fuel ?

Yeah it might especially if its a 250.... The jet sizes will be to small for the engine for one & I think the 250 carb has a bigger base on it from memory... But you'll figure that out quick cos it won't fit.

I have been found the video camera but no still - it might be at mum and dad's. If I can't find mine I will use dad's
