Hi rusty_nail I am on the Mornington peninsula, what have you got and how many $$$?
Cheers, Mick
Hi mate, have one of the supacenter exhausts, fairly certain it's the mild steel one, can confirm by digging through paperwork. Would be happy with $350 mate. Fairly certain @Bidja has one of these and has great results.
Pm me if your interested.

you got me thinking about it mate, i dug out the transaction, it actually is the stainless one, i wanted mild steel but they had none in stock and i was intent on seeing through an exhaust change that day lol, its also the aussie made model. i paid $849 for it bought it on 20/11/18 and as i said motor stopped running around march.
Would be happy to let it go for around $500 i reckon if your still interested.
Didn't buy anything, but received a nice gift from Mr @PeeBee.

Open the box I was greeted with the lovely smell of melted plastic & blown electronic components.
Thanks mate, I see what I can get out of it.
Doesn't sound good, but fingers crossed.
I hope it is not damaged but it got pretty hot - unsure if the stink is from the Smartpass though - wont take long to find out anyway.
Just went to an anaconda store near Hobart, it was my first time in an anaconda store and it was awesome! Walked out with a new jetboil system at a really good price, which will be awesome for quick coffee stops and warming baby bottles on roadside.

Hey mate, I’m lost at the “first time at Anaconda” bit! WTF.
Anyway, I’ve seen these jet boils and they are unbelievable.
I ended buying one of these so I can use it on different gas platforms.
Basically just the jug/container

I bought some silicone vacuum hose .... just incase
Bought this DC-DC charge controller, 50amp unit, good size for the 400a/h bank in the back. It looks like it has the goods for the job, and I won't be using the MPPT side of it, so less heat stress into it as well. Looked at the Redarc, but physically too large in size and too much money for the duty it would see from me. Time will tell if this setup suits my application

I really wanted to support redarc when I got my dc-dc charger but just not even in the same league price wise. I couldn't justify spending that much money on something that get sporadic use at best. It was a foreign unit or nothing for me :/
That one looks like it should do what it needs too.
I think its looks Ok as well. Its about value V performance and time will tell if I have made the correct choice. The Victron MPPT unit that Cuppa recommended is clearly more efficient than the CTEK unit I had - you can see it in the voltage and current rates. I don't expect to be operating this unit at 50amps beyond a few minutes to be honest, so it does not justify the Redarc. the Redarc is premium stock, but like you, to buy at the top end by default is simply not logical.
Tomatoes, capsicum and Jelapinoes...made use of soil and pots I had mulching along the back fence...

Awesome Mark, you’ll love it mate, well done!
Do consider bracing the HM together too even with a standard width drum, they are a beast of a motor them Iskra Mahle’s and pull like a freight train with a shipload of amps.
Matty may know a bloke available and or Phil at The 4WD Shed that Darren kindly put me in touch with did a ripper job, powder coated black too seems to take your eye off front end grill modifications etc...[emoji106][emoji106]

Very nice Markie, time to sink the old girl and test it out lol. . .

Already has the bracing done mate. Mal at S.G Leslie & sons done the lot. Braced it, smaller hub on the drum, shampfered the drum end plates so they dont cut into the rope, done the bearing mod to the drum and end plate, fill and drain holes. To only thin that wasn't done was a breather port. Which I can do.
Then, once this is all back together i need to shoe horn this into my bar somehow. I'll get the bar sandblasted and powdercoated after all this, she's looking a bit second hand.
Couple of recovery ger items arrived today, 2 x equaliser strap and a rope slide sheeve block.

I had been wanting to buy an Ozpig for a while now and saw they have just released a combo special with their smoker oven, so went to the local dealer and placed an order.
At least with all the restrictions in place I will have plenty of time at home to get the hang of it before using it on a trip.

$250 but really good quality material and under half the price it seems of the fines some poor blokes around here have been coping lately apparently even with their occy/cargo non-compliant now ones.
A young bloke apparently also got smashed for a pair of muddy footy boots after training sitting back there on his tray front :-(

We use the exact same net at work on our Transit with a 5m tray, that one was $1000 but it has saved us sooooooo much time! We permanently leave it on, and use it to strap stuff down too so we no longer use straps either.
