Yes it is in the Flinders, north of Wilpena, and the artist has a trail that goes through the flinders named after him.

Thanks rusty-nail. It's good to know that others find the thread of interest even if not participating. I expect that participation will continue to rise & fall, but it's always good to have different folk putting up pics. We all live somewhere & most of us have a camera of some sort. A shot of Elizabeth St, Melbourne is just as relevant as one of the Birdsville Hotel dunny.
