As far as I know it's just 6" springs and some shocks. The rear springs are a bit tired, probably shocks also.

so standard control arms and radius arm, Drop boxes. ?? what are your plans after the motor is done, you obviously have a decent budget, all the power in the world wont mean sh1t if you cant get it to the ground properly.

Yeah as far as I know everything else is standard. I was thinking of looking into airbag suspension, I'd like the option of having it at road legal hight for street use and the option of raising it only when needed. Having 8" lift and 35's is good, but the chance of rollover feels really high. And the ability to drop one side of the car or just one wheel at a time would help in some situations, like the other night I could have dropped the RHF ride hight and pumped up the LHR to be able to winch over this mound without rolling or having to cut the mound away so I didn't roll. I just don't know how drivable they would be and if they would fail easily. When you see the patrol at full flex the wheels are cambered in a heap, I don't know if this would test a airbag.http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum.../2012/08/4.jpg

Anyone know if full external roll cages like they have on comp trucks is road legal?

There was a full body patrol in 4wd action a while ago (a year or more) that had a full cage and wad daily driven.... I'll try to find the article

i can't see much of a down side running an underbody surge tank, water proof fuel pump elec terminals should solve any elec issues. i'd strongly recommend having some sort of enclosure to protect the system from rocks, branches, debris from damaging the system. i'll be running mine where the long range tanks are usually mounted, and running the lines through the chassis rail.
i didn't notice if anyone else commented on the vibration / wobble, you probably have about 300grams of mud on your front left rim, throwing your balance right out. hopefully it's as simple as just hosing off the wheels and take it for a run

I don't know if pasting the link here will work as I'm on my phone but these guys have good setups for sale. http://www.shop.cartel-aus.com/AFTER...STRIES_c33.htm
I'll be keeping my long range tank, so I'll be looking for a new spot for mine. I could always just mount it in the tray.
