I think in nsw these road work speed limits are rarely enforced because they are not officially gazetted speed limits?
I obey them mostly out of fear nonetheless

Applied to the council yesterday to do an extension on our house. The f#*kers say we need to apply for a full town planning permit!!! WTF! This can take up to a year to be approved! Getting raped by our council yet again!
I hate to say it, but you are probably a 'marked man'. The guy who built our place pissed the local council off to the n'th degree and when I wanted to put up a pergola they immediately said no as the house site was blacklisted due to total violations with multiple council regs. Despite me agruing the point the point that it is the former owner , not me who did the dirty work, they held firm. We don't have a pergola!Quote:

Was getting put through the ringer Mark for our shed permits many years ago with same council too mate. Wasn’t until my pestering for the urgent need to catch additional bushfire fighting water that they came to the party real quick. Follow up every phone call with an email “As discussed” !!
