Yes you did! lol .. Firstly, the mud guards had to go - the frames are rusted and have started eating into the body, so that would need repair. Not now, as I'm cutting it out. Secondly, the rear quarter panels are getting belted off road - already have a few dings in them as we found out even more so yesterday after removing the bumper guards. So the clearance is needed for what I do. Thirdly, and just as importantly, it looks tuff as!!! LOL!!
Piccies of sparks and flames and molten drops of metal between the toes of workers wearing thongs!!!

Evening Kat and Growlers,
Good to see the NS open for business!!
Hi Guys how are we??
Yeah good...you have a good day?
Hi Growlers
Some one burn the toast??
yes indeed, why I am I trying to change heater/inlet manifold hoses that aren't leaking, or at least weren't before I started :-( Mr Nissan was having a very bad day when he 'designed' that debacle. Quite easy to mount most of it up to the inlet manifold before fitting it to the motor, and the rest before fitting the motor.
XLR8 may provide some tips, I'm hoping :-)
A rare instance of precautionary maintenance, that after the current experience is unlikely to be repeated any time soon.
However I think it inexcusable that a core system that is prone to failure should be so inaccessible on a real 4wd vehicle. Tantrum finished. Until tomorrow ;-)
