Black line??
This is the pathfinder. Your not meaning the 550 are you?
I've gone away from diesel for a bit.
This is the vq40 v6 petrol with 5 speed auto.
Ti so everything on it.
Decided a few house renos and a shed were more important than a shiny new car..
Pick it up on the 10th..

Went to Super Cheap to take advantage of their
store wide discount ended up buying a bottle of
injector cleaner [Nulon] and 2 oil filters.
Arrived home $71 lighter, checked on Ebay
ryco filters to suit my GU huh $27 a pop
Super Cheap sold them at $41 RRP for the exact
same filter, never again forgot to get some castrol T2 as well
maybe tomorrow we'll see.
Why don't you use cheaper genuine filters John? Far superior than the Ryco junk. $24

Bought one of these
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PX07-Bos...72.m2749.l2649 Reckon its time to retire the old ARB unit are 22yrs!
Finally got to the bottom of where my Alternator Diode Mod was - it wasn't - supplier refused to communicate until I got Paypal involved, then they flooded me with info about a supply issue etc - just not good enough I reckon to keep the buyer in the dark and treat them with disdain. Anyway its now on the way from USA as well as the new aluminium billet pulley from Leroy Diesels.
Victron solar charge controller turned up now for the fun stuff , amazed that they are now Bluetooth enabled and the price has gone down so much .
I paid $126 for this one and can't wait to check out just what I can do with it via the app .

Yep, that's what I have. I use mine with an air tank (Boss aluminium tanks are very well made & light). Just don't make the mistake I made with it. If using the Boss supplied braided hose with chromed fitting, do not screw it into the cylinder head! Get a brass adapter & screw that into the cylinder head & the hose into the brass fitting. If you don't & ever need to remove the hose you will likely find it is seized in. I had to replace the cylinder head & hose. (Good availability & at a reasonable cost - & easy to fit - the Boss supplier is excellent with after sales service). Also get yourself a decent one way valve from Enzed or similar, I had 2 Boss supplied ones fail. Great compressors though.
Thanks Cuppa, good reminder about compatible metals. I have an SMC pneumatic check valve from when I had the reservoir tank in play. Currently removed as i bashed a hole in it on a hills trip. I have the braided hose as well. It is certainly a monster, but still on site, have not seen it, BUT THE WIFE HAS! Yes, I know she has because of the TONE in her voice. I will use either a tank I have at home or get one knocked up as a custom on site.
Coming soon to the "what did you do to your patrol today" thread.

Not a big purchase but it'll be nice to have some of the music coming out at a level I can actually hear it. Going to pop them in the A pillars.
Also very impressed they come with 3 mounting options.
Bought a Ctek MXS 15 battery charger, was originally just going to get a Ctek MXS 10 from Repco with a 30% discount for RAC members, then found this online
https://frankiesautoelectrics.com.au...er-maintainer/
New socket set to replace the ones that got stolen when my garage was broken into.
Pretty happy with the sale price as well

Just like this @MB .
Nice and neat and flush mounted and you can then mount the main unit anywhere tucked away. Its just an ordinary Cat5 network cable that connects everything. $2-3 from officeworks etc...

Scored a new clamp meter too since losing my last one somewhere trackside up in our VHC. This new one plays AC/DC somehow too, must be bluetooth enabled or something?
