There was a fishing show recently that followed a NZ container ship, it seems the Huge blue fin tuna follow them.
long story short they landed one not quite that big but still big, cost was about $20,000 on the Japanese market.
If that picture is real that's an absolute ox of a fish, bag limit is ?????????????????????????? lol

Went out the front of Werribee marina this morning to try for some squid.
We got our bag of 20 by 10am.
Only three flatties but only tried after we bagged out on squid.

Wasn't the best of mornings to fish either.
Water was glassed out and not a breath of wind. No drift what so ever, so really had to work the jigs hard. The harder we jigged got the results.

At least I didn't lose any jigs today. But the squid destroyed two jigs that probably got 15 of the 29 squid caught.
