So its on. I arrived last night about 11:30pm and these guys had been working on a snapped exhaust stud in the back 9f the turbo for nearly 2 hours. Was a MOFO.

Winnie now owns a new tap and die set and easy out set and rossco a new set 9f drill bits but the farker is out 15 hours later.

Winnie might have forgotted to tighten the banjo on the back of the turbo. Would have been much easier to do out of the car.

Hey this pic is the bright side!!!!! Had to take the intake to the turbo off to get to the banjo...Isla might have been posting stuff the other day and neatly delivered a screw driver down the little pipe!!!!

Think I am broken, clutch was slipping on our first test drive and found the rear main leaking really badly. Looks like the box is coming out next week...

Sorry to hear Chris, huge weekend and build up no doubt with big expectations. Anyway, another step closer.

Thanks mate, yeah it was a huge downer for sure. On the bright side the engine runs smooth as silk, it's bloody awesome and we must have got the pump timing spot on because it is hard to tell the difference to the old motor. Didn't get much of a chance to drive unfortunately but it felt tight.

Yeah drove absolutely beautifully starts perfect and sounds smooth as, bloody good motor i reckon. Downer with the clutch especially as it was pretty much brand new, but yeah she'll get there.
