Well we were bored and wanted to take the new car for a spin, so we drove to Dargo and had lunch at the River Inn with Rossco and Mark (AB's brother)
=)
They will be now that he has the parts =)
Rossco blew a flexible brake hose, I had a spare packed to take to him but obviously could not get them to him on Friday. So we went for a drive today instead =)
Get much rain out your way Winnie??
Overcast and spitting on and off here temp dropped a bit too
Well I'm home. I'll post some pictures later. Off to eildon tomorrow
Got pulled over on the way out. Tyres checked by 3 cops on dirt bikes. Just reading on Facebook that heaps are getting done for their 35s I hope every one is all good
Need to go through my dash cam and see what I can get out of it, but here is our set up when the rain came in

Unfortunately I couldn't hang around to say goodbye to everyone, but it was great to meet the ones that I haven't met before, forum members, friends and partners and to catch up with the others.
An absolutely beautiful part of the world and I will be going back.
Massive thanks to everyone for the nighty entertainment (sprock), the chicken cook up and a very enjoyable weekend.

Ill post a few campfire videos when I'm on the computer
nice pics bud!
Dog takes a great selfie Lucas LOL
Just got home, wish we could've stayed longer!
Another successful meet up with some new faces too which was great to see.
Weather broke up a bit near the end of the trip but still humid so swimming and undies all round!
What was a bit disappointing was the rude police targeting 4wders. Pretty much every single person in the entire region was pulled over and roadworthy check.
Apart from that the camp spot was great Winnie, shame you couldn't be there!
We made a big cook up with 250 chicken skewers with all types of spice concoctions!
Photos to follow!
And special thanks to Jeremy for guitar playing skills. We rocked that camp site every night!
Bloody hell guys, I'm glad you had loads of fun. Spewing more of you couldn't get into Dargo for a sneaky secret pub lunch ;)
I tried to get you on the sat phone a couple of times and sent an sms too
Got home about an hour ago. Absolutely fly blown right now.
We had so much fun the kids are already asking when the next one is.
Myself and Rossco are the two lucky ones on 35s who didnt get nabbed. Few!
The rain tried to dampen our spirits but failed.
Nisshead, that devils water needs to stay away. That is truly evil stuff. But we gave it a nudge.
And a big thanks to Jeremy with his guiter hero work. Made an awesome night even better.
Great to see you again to Nic. Im impressed on the effort you make to get to these meet ups.

Oh and i forgot Sprocks drunken effort to get a dog enema had us in tears....
Good to see the grass was down compared to two weeks ago. Glad everyone had a ball.
Just got back- great trip all in all with a few mishaps and dramas, but that all adds to the adventure really!!
Firstly I am happy to take full responsibility for completely stuffing up and navigating successfully to Collins Hut as opposed to Collins Flat- Whoops!! After heading down a reasonable 4WD track with campers in tow (AB and Marks) we reached the camping area which was pretty small, covered with thistles and no toilet. We were pretty much about to set up when it didn't quite feel right so AB and I checked the map and yep . . . O Dear. Ha Ha, it was at this point that I noticed the brake pedal slowly sink and a split had developed in the hose so we slowly headed off to Colins Flat via Dargo.
After calling Winnie he had his old brake lines which he was going to pack and bring up- sweet!Nicko told us about his ankle in the mornig. (Bugger) Anyway many many thanks Winnie and Amy for coming up to Dargo to drop them off- pretty quick fix after that, and spewing you guys missed out.
Didn't get much driving in but headed down to Crooked river which was great I'll put some photos up later. Bit of a downer with the cops but Mudski and I dodged a bullet, they went past but must of been going on home shift.
Thanks too all, special thanks to Jeremy for the tunes Mark and Lou for the Chinese style chicken skewers and nibbles and Sprock and Daniel for heading out for the first time, definatly hope to see you again.
Yep and fog.
I thought that may of been the case but it kept saying initialising handset, please wait, then it reset. Repeatedly did that the whole trip.
But now that you mentioned it I only checked the phone when it was heavy cloud and fog and now that I am home it works fine?
Guys I'm glad yous had a blast. Did anybody do either billy goats or blue rag?
Sounds like you had a ball, sorry I missed you sprock but sounds like you were the life of the party =)
Nothing like a bit of music around the campfire, well done Jeremy!
Nic is an absolute legend! What an effort to get to a casual weekend. Sorry I missed you mate, was looking forward to a night drive in with you.
We didn't get a chance mate. When Rossco was meeting you I took everyone out to the east side over the river at camp which was pretty good, then the next day was through crooked river, etc.
The police also made it a bit worrying for some as well.
Crooked river was a great spot, one of my favourite scenic tracks I've done.
Yeah bloody cops... In a way I was glad I wasn't there. Apparently they were targeting big tyres and lights on rooves.
Thanks all for a great weekend & making us feel welcome , fun times , haha Mudski dog enemas are all the rage 😝 , good to put a few names to faces . I'll put some pics up when I figure out how to do it - you now my issues with computers Nic 😏
You cruts didn't drink enough of the moonshine by the sound of it
