Brought a new 21 litre Engel for the ute. As natural as breathin air told the missus got a great bargain on evil bay for $378 bucks after a fierce bidding war. Told her I got carried away in the bidding and hope she wasn't mad for spending the $378 bucks. Told me she would let me off because it looked brand new and was happy I got a real bargain.
Geez Iam gonna get done one day now to go into the mancave and get rid of the packaging and hide the receipt an warranty card before she wises up. Don't know how I sleep at nights. He he
Bought a beaudesert exhaust fit it up tomorrow if it's not raining
I feel a little at ease now knowing that I'm not the only one that quickly throws out packaging and hides receipts from the wife.
Iam gonna throw 6 grand at the ute in two weeks time. Made an offhand very vague comment to the missus about doin some mods to the ute. I chose to make the comments when she was busy talking to some of her friends when I knew she would be distracted.
Got a what did you say but before I could come up with somethin she was off gabberin to her friends and soon forgot what I had said. Gee I am a crafty shit years of experience ha ha .
G'day trendsetters,
I finally got around to start my beloved Patrol today after 2 months of being confined to hospitals and bed. Unfortunately, the battery was farked,So I went into Coffs Harbour to purchase a new battery and I have just started the poor thing.
PS, She is purring like a jungle cat. lol
Regards,
PMC
Bought a new head unit to replace the factory one. Comes with OziExplorer, so now I'll have this and Hema on the iPad and a few others on the Android. Even get an external mic and reverse camera - that'll bring the GUII up to a today standard car :)

Once that's in, time for some new speakers and a small sub (got sick of removing the larger one every time I needed space in my Pathy).
I show her what I bought and say look what you own 1/2 of dear, I do have damaged hearing from the smacks around the ears but she gets over it.
She had a 3 week holiday recently, so eBay became my new friend... I haven't been ready for another bashing so she hasn't seen her new camp chair, half of her solar panel, discs and EBC pads on her side of the Trol, the Redarc BCDC1240.... thinking about it I'm glad she came home!
My wife hardly ever spends money so I look like a complete twat with all the crap I buy.... I have been nearly very good lately and stopped trying to fill a hole with junk I dont really need and the excuses I make in my head are so lame sometimes..
I went to that camping show and spent $20 on a fridge stand and was proud that I controlled myself.
My wife loves camping as much as I do, so I get free rein. Just got delivered a set of Poly-Air bellows to assist with my rear leaf suspension. :Yahoo!:
Will fit this weekend (in between making a new centre console) – Photos coming
A Thumper Air Compressor and a Kwiky Tyre Deflator......
Wasn't today but last Wednesday. I had to go and get a pressure washer as we had a mini excavator and bobcat in my backyard and the garage and driveway was an inch higher from all the mud. I went down to my local SCA, as I do contract work for them and I know them pretty well. Plus I have a trade card so it's an extra 10% percent off. I go to the counter and hand over my trade card. The girl says for me to give her my Club Plus card instead. I asked why and she quietly said that this washer goes on sale on the weekend at 20% off so I will get 20% over the 10% off. Sweet as bro! Now I got $60 to spend in there coz I can...
Bought one of those moulded plastic mechanics' creepers. Saw it last month and waited until the 20% off was current. Now that I have it, I can't imagine how I have done without it. The oil change was a breeze.
Watch out for them. They bite. A mate of mine has one, I was using it under his cruiser, went under the car to the other side, sweet, went to go back and of corse I got about 2" of skin under my arm caught in the wheel as it rotated around. Holy hell it hurt. Now I'm not a person who bruises easy, but that left a massive bruise.
I brought a Xtream heavy duty clutch kit.
Now to fit the bugger.........
Bought a fullriver 105Ah battery as well as some other goodies to complete my system. Also bought ARB LED parker / indicator replacement lights for the bullbar.

I love my creeper. For a bit of peace and quiet I just roll under the car, look around the chassis, contemplate the meaning of life and drop a spanner every now and again so my missus knows that I am still alive and thinks I am doing something to the car - pure undisturbed bliss lol
PS If you ever put your back out, I find that an hour on the creeper under the car is better than any chiropractor appointment I have ever had.
Got my slide hammer in the mail today, time to fix some dents
A double choc Mars Bar. I gotta say its not as good as the original. Just tasted like dark chocolate really.
Ironman 2" lift kit, Ironman stearing damper, Ironman Caster bushings.
Going to wait by the mail box untill the packet arives :)
Few goodies this week. New speakers (Infinity splits for front, 2 ways for the rear) - all arrived. 10" Clarion 'slim' sub kit (amp & wiring kit) went slim to avoid taking it out when loading the trol up - not even posted yet - grrrrr.
Last but not least a ECUTalk display.
Was meant to be an awning, but oh well - it's not summer yet :)
Bought a wireless range extender today for home. I have an Officeworks nearby with a pc store opposite and just down the road is Centrecom. Centrecom are always cheaper by far than Officeworks but never have the stock and Officeworks do. So like may other times I go to OW today and pickup this extender I needed which was $129, Centrecom have it for 99.50, but have no stock, I ask them if they can pricematch, I show them the add on my phone, and, they knock off another 5%. Win!!!
Bought a replacement 11 led camp light to replace the one I broke on the Simpson trip, it's cheaper than the last one at a whole $4.85 posted rather than $32 from the camping stores.
came back to perth after fortnight away from the possum and he has tinted the windows on my car,he also has visited every fast food outlet from home to perth in the last 2 weeks to..good to be back in the city for a day or 2.
Picked up a set of TRED's for $154 from Anaconda! Was pretty happy with that.

Wife left my pride and joy without the trickle charger on when I when O/S in April, killed the wet cell Bosch so when I ordered the AGM's for the CSU (Camping Support Unit) I piled on a Yellow top Optima, just installed it today since I was working on the other project.
They do work great in the mud too.
