are your scrub bars and side steps steal or aluminium? I had ali scrub bars on the GQ when i first bought them and used to bend the steps regularly. I got really good at straightening them out on the car though! ;)
There a couple of tricks that work great. let me know if you need to know. They need to be on the car though.

The tacho will only work if you use a td rev counter. Very easy to fit as the tacho will bolt into the tb set up. Youll need a pin out diagram and run the 2 wire s from the sender to the tacho
Youll need a td throttle cable. You cant use the tb cable as its a little short
