We just booked for 3 ½ months over there too (first time), beginning of December through to mid March. Cost us $1340 for 2 of us, Patrol & Tvan, with cheapest cabin/night sailing both ways.
When are you going to be over there pearcey? @pearcey

I use to come here every summer with the family when I was a kid. Dad would sleep on the beach, mum won't go near the water (90 mile beach) and my brother and I used to drift away past the wave break, until we had trouble seeing the beach umbrella.
Weeks later we would be popping fair size blisters off my dads back and peeling large pieces of skin off. He's 82 now and has never had a problem with his skin, must be the tough silician skin.
With all the times I've been here, I never done a cruise of the lakes unti now.
Lakes to Metung 3 hours with fresh scones made on board. Perfect weather highly recommend.http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2017/06/91.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2017/06/92.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2017/06/93.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2017/06/94.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2017/06/95.jpg

Just back from 6 hours up the Grampians.
Took a track that had an open gate up around the Chimney Pots. Wow, what a ripper. It's a bit cut up and would need lockers f&r to go the opposite way to what we went. The track was cut up due to rain and very rocky, not crazy hard but very enjoyable. Had some 1st low with rear locker on coming down some sections as it was so rocky and slippy.
Got to the other end ad yep, the gate was locked! But there was a very well worn and built up way around it to the side, looked like it had been locked up for quite a while, but the way around the gate also looked like it had been used for some time.
