It’s pretty comfy mate, headrest is a bonus for me neck issues too. You’ll have to “hint” a bit harder mate, circled catalogue pic strategically left on the coffee table for your ladies maybe :-)!

... I bought one about 12 months ago.
I agree MB, best crawler I've had... good size wheels and the adj head rest saves the poor old neck muscles lots of aches.
For sure mate, their wheel size is great too just realised also! There’s always heaps of crap on our floor blowing through the wind tunnel :-)

Stiffener brace for the front diff housing, bit concerned with all the weight and bending the housing on some of the gnarly tracks.
This one, but only bought the laser cut channel. My driving does not warrant the knuckle stiffeners etc and i already have the diff bowl protected. For $40 plus delivery, reckon its worth doing, especially as the car is still sitting up on stands at the moment.

Got in last week just before Amazon US banned us from buying from them.

Looks great Mark!
How does that whole Amazonion caper work? I’m assuming due to Tax issues Australia is being blocked from direct mail import?
How do we go about buying stuff in the future if there is no reseller and or stock here?
Genuinely asking as will no doubt need some diesel Chev parts soon and suspect grade I need won’t be available down under.

Amazon is just a different version of eBay really.
You can use Amazon Australia but there is no benefit because of purchase cost. Items bought from Amazon Au come from Australia. Items from Amazon US, come from the US. Amazon US decided to block us aussies at the same time our grubbernment decided to make any seller outside AU pay 10%GST on any item they sell to Australia. It only ever used to be anything over $1000 as you would know.
Apparently, Amazon said this is why we cant use their US site. But it quite obvious that their AU site is a flop so they are forcing Aussie Amazon shoppers to use the AU site. All its going to do it make them switch to other sites to buy overseas. Like eBay...
So if you want to buy some chev parts. You would have to contact a seller directly I reckon and convince them to sell and ship it to you. It shouldn't be an issue for most sellers though.
Thanks Mark appreciated!
Does sound like it needs lots more work :-(

Oooh nice [emoji16]
Yeah love my old Jayco took it out last weekend tows beautifully smooth as and so easy to put up to. Think they're a good combo if your setting up for a bit they're great comfy as can get into enough places, traveling trips or harder 4WD tracks swag it . .

Thanks. Just got the main bit setup at the moment to try and dry it out. It bucketed down when we went to look at it today. This one doesn't have canvas around the bed ends too. Its vinyl, ro something like that and the entire canvas and vinyl areas have been professionally waterproofed too. Its got some sticker on the door saying who did it. I just want to do a few things, like add a 12v battery bank and solar setup, change the lights to LED, regrease the wheel bearings, so I know they are done, and adjust the leccy brakes as they didn't do a lot when driving home. Oh and I need to get one of those skirt thingo's that button to the lower side when the full annex goes up. Doesn't have one.
Looks good Muddy , did you run under a low bridge ? What happened to your roof rack ?
Thought as much mate
Got a CRD presie in the mail early this week, just had to unwrap and will have to wait a week then install. Maybe color match the scoop (Desert Gold or even do Black_not sure).
Spare uni joints. The ones I have been carrying were to suit the old 2.8TD, and the drive shafts got upgraded to the TD42 units when the chev conversion was done. Also bought a spare clutch slave cylinder.
New carpet for the Patrol. Not real sure on the colour but it was the closest available.
Bought a 52" Stedi ST4k & Uneek Universal Light Bar Brackets. Both ordered Monday & both turned up b4 lunch Tuesday. Now to decide where to run the wires. a.Behind snorkel b. In snorkel c. Cut hole top b Pillar...

Bought myself a new Travel Buddy oven for my trip to Tassie in a couple of weeks. Gave my old one to my son. Great units. Nothing like a hot pie or sausage roll on a cold day.
Couldn’t resist after seeing your post...bastard...lol

Beaut ovens, money well spent Blokes!
My $50 Autobarn jobbie makes a good soggy stew out of a 4&20 pie :-( Brothers Travel Buddy cooks the perfect pastry en-route tracks! Pretty sure he has some hard learned tricks like rolled up foil packers to wedge tucker in there from sliding/bouncing around etc..

Few amps to run these units I recon, look good though
They sure do mate but all good whilst charge traveling. Remember stopping on the mighty Murray one night and 6hrs later our semi frozen Black & Gold Lazagne was off angle running cheese (milk water) down through every crevice in the old GQ :-)

The only way a good memorable stew could run mate. haha
I've got the Marine Travel Buddy oven and swear by it.
I've installed ventilation in my pod so that there's no condensation build up while i'm driving and my food is cooking.
Love the smell of a re-heating curry or garlic bread lingering through the air vents when I pull up. lol.
Was tasty mate but my cab still stinks of casserole from oozing outa my cheapo version seals :-) Reckon better sealed pots inside a Travel Buddy would be the go, similar to these maybe: http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...018/07/188.jpg

You'll wish you'd bought one years ago. Great units. My favorite is cooking "mini" lamb roasts from my butcher. You'll find it very hard to keep driving with that cooking smell happening behind you. Enjoy.
