My guess is it has something to do with the airbox/intake. I think it has to do with the pressure of the air inside the intake when you are gassing is quite high, then when you lift off you are taking all the fuel out and mucking up the air fuel ratios. I know on real cars that are on gas, patrols, you need to fit an equalizing pipe to the intake to stop it doing that.
Did not make me angry but bloody hurt .
For those that use brushcutter and mower without protection take note, I have done many other things but yhis one was weird. .. it was just a small piece of weeds but went a full Centre meter into my shin.

Did not know it was there till I got home and god it hurt when I pulled it out.
Oh funny. ..... so your risk of death at work is from a killer printer!!!
It doesn't backfire when lifting the foot but the other way around.........back off then put the foot down.......BANG!!!!!!!!!
But could be the same thing, will start with leads, plugs and cleaning the maff sensor.
Maff sensor I dare say needs a good clean as when I bought it the air box was blown and there was no air filter there!!! Have replaced the air box and put a filter in.
