This new bloody rule about slowing to 40 Ks past an emergency or enforcement vehicle with flashing light or sounding siren. I nearly ran up someones ginger when they braked hard. The Copper was parked behind a van and I didn't see the Flashing lights until after I hit the brakes. Bloody glad I leave heaps of room to the car in front. I can see why they made the rule, but what about a bit more notice to get familiar with it.
Make sure no crud has blocked the breather, 'cos the weakest seal usually let go when that happens.
Mine does the same. I'm pretty certain the left side of the diff is bent and the body/suspension lift somehow contributed to it(in mine).
You can speedy sleeve it with the spring around the oil seal shortened to exert more pressure on the axle.
Or the bigger job, pull the diff housing out and straighten it.
Drove down to Hallam first thing to pick up some seats for the GQ cos mine are rooooted and don't want to put them back in. . . Bought some over the phone from a ebay ad from an online supplier but had a shop too. Bloke said no worries they will be in the shop to pick up on Saturday. Anyway get there after taking wrong turn off and going through bloody Dandenong (grrr), wait for a couple of pain in the ass customers to finish getting all there bits and finish asking stupid questions, then tell the bloke I'm picking up some seats. Yeah remember that, one minute. . . He's gone for a bit then comes out, hmmm got a bad feeling comin on - so sorry mate forgot to get them - AAAARRRGH pain in the but half a day gone for nothing. Poor dude felt really bad tho, will probably get them couriered for nothing on Monday.
