I had a spare one I threw out years ago because I thought they were unbreakable ! Perhaps I'll hang onto the CV shafts just in case .

Think you could well be right.... Think I'll be saving up for a different vehicle to be honest, need something newer and auto. Maybe a D-Max ;)

Just be done with it AB and buy a GU. You know you wife will love you, even more, for it. Bigger cabin space and much more comfy to drive in. You already have the GU motor. Get a grenaded 3Ltr for cheap as chips and your about 99% there.
