Here is the photos of 2 new knives, 1 being a spiderco. plus the Lansky sharpening system. Both knives have come up a treat with only minor sharpening. Very pleased.

Currently modding 1 of my crossdraw sheath templates to now include an open top, standard (upright carry) version.
Should have a finished version with pics by the end of the weekend.
Ended up completing it quicker than I thought

@Both, do you only sharpen that factory edge on the knife???
I remove that as I don't like the shoulder that small edge offers
I always finish off a new knife to clean up the factory edge

Here's the front, it had no cork chips inside, the sides were Masonite which I changed to pine boards,
the lower door is completely different and neater IMO, the interior is enamelled steel and in good nic.
The top is ply which I injected with aquahere as it had bubbled. Hindsight which I have plenty of
I would re do the main door in pine boards to match the sides , but I have kept it as was back in 1950
They make great entertainment storage units, wine cellars and CD storage. Pretty happy with this one and hope Mr Mudski feels the same
When I was going to use the pine boards for the main door, I was going router the edge.
but up close it looks ok, After all it was the 50's.
This style is more usefull than the top loader ones IMO
My dual Timber Rattler bowies arrived today, will put pic later.
nice up swept clip point on the bowie, wasn't sure about the Pakka wood handle
I thought it looked like ply wood and very cheap, but very surprised it looks good.
As you can see nice weight to the knife, might use this at camp too.
Looking forward to the pics. Stamps still haven't been delivered, once I get them your sheathes will be finished off
