Kallen,
I don't know much about Ipads / Touch Pads, I have only just started researching.
Doesn't seem to bad for the price, but I would be wary of buying anything electronic from overseas, unless it has warranty and there was a service centre located in Australia.
Send Nic ( Rusty Nails ) a PM he will let you know what he thinks of it and if you tell him your budget he might be able to recommend something else..
Was also told to be careful with what you buy as replacing a screen for example could cost you more than what you bought the unit for in the first place.
Sorry can't be of any more help
Also if your stereo System is not much chop, you can buy Stereo's these days that have removable touch pads...... pretty cool stuff\\
Cheers
Toddie
Yea these days there a throw away job is something happens.. My insurance excess is $100 so it's not worth it..
Does the Opp system look ok? I'm not up with suitable running systems.
I'll give rusty a pm though..

Yeh mate
OS is current, I would go with something that has usb ports etc like the one your looking at. Pretty much ticks all my boxes except for being overseas.
Doesn't specify running time, all the cheaper ones I've looked at only run for about 2hrs playing audio / vid etc, which is no where near enough for me.
Cheers
Toddie
Well I just grabbed this one.. $116..

Well I'm free. Free at last...
Just swapped my 10 month old iPhone 4 for a HTC one xl... Can't believe she wanted a swap...
Stocked
BIG!!!!
But nice... A decent spell checker.. lol
Battery well I'm not sure yet.. been setting up and down loading so its chewed 1/4 in 3 hours...
So far I like it.
Here is one for you Tod. I can't play any video clips on my computer. Also - it won't even go to the youtube site, let alone run any of the video clips.
Sounds like you're missing a codec on media player. try installing this http://www.mediaplayercodecpack.com/
VLC is a great player
x2, if the codec update doesn't work try re-installing media player.
Don't think this will help with Internet vids though
Try updating Adobe Flash Player if the codec and re installing media player doesn't work for internet vids: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Cheers
Toddie
X2 on flash YouTube is flash based, that should fix ur problem. If not try a different browser
Tappin
Well battery seems to be going ok.. for such a large phone Im looking at around 10-12 hours play time..
The wife hammered it this arvo 'testing' it out..
I see why people like the iPhone, it is a simpler opperating system.. but its all a name. This is killing it in speed and features.. and 4G.. dam its quick..
Haven't got it yet... Hopefully here tomorrow.
Small issue for you android guru

Westy, there's a hotmail app, which seem to work ok, I'll see if I can remember which one it is.
Edit: it's the one done by Seven Networks ..... Unlike your normal android mail app, this one shows all your emails, not just the last few days
Don't stroke it, TAP it!!!!.....
Thanks clunk. Just grabbed it and it seems nice. A bit better then the android setup. Cheers

Heres a couple for those in the know.
Is there a way i can access my laptop from my Iphone ????
Not just mail, thats not a prob', but there has been occassions were i needed to access certain files while out and about.
Secondly does anyone know how to create an iphone app ???
Thanks peeps
You can use something like dropbox or google drive or icloud to store files, pics, vids etc and can access them from anywhere in the world from a phone or pc.
Otherwise if you just want to remote desktop into your PC you can use a program called logmein.Use the free version and load the client side on your PC and you can access that PC from anywhere or anything connected to the net by just loging into their website. Works on iphone but is a bit tricky to manurer around but works
not sure on the app creation side mate
x2 on what Kris has said, I use dropbox, but there all the same.
What sort of App are you wanting? There are apps pretty much for everything these days, chuck that crap apple product in the bin and go by yourself an Android phone *L*
Cheers Kris but drop box is that like a file storage out there in netland stored on some sattelite somewhere.. All jibberish to me mate. Not keen on storing stuff on the net..
Remote desktop, always heard about it but never realy understood what it was.... Sounds like the go for what i need,, might look into that one, thanks mate
Yep, with dropbox you share files or upload files onto the cloud(some big storage area somewhere in the world).
Logme in is just a little program that runs on your PC and when you want to access that PC and take control of it remotely, you just log into logmein website and you can just use that PC normally but from a remote location.
Good luck mate. I have computers of friends here and overseas and when they have any issues I can just log into their PC and check it out....pretty cool
Logmein sounds like the go for me Kris, might look into it.
Sounds pretty cool actually. That would be awsome if i could access puter from where eva.
Cheers mate, nice work.
Oh, do i install the prog' on the puter. or on the iphone or on both
That is Fn awsome Kris, there is also an Iphone logmein app, it works a treat mate, thanks heaps.
