It's been 12 months to the day since the last post on this thread.
Soooooo, if you wanna 'give it another go', or 'give it a go', feel free to add your weight.
Participants normally weigh in every Monday morning.
I strongly suggest that before commencing, you visit your doctor/health care professional for the appropriate tests before undertaking any exercise and/or weight loss/reduction program/strategy.
Unfortunately, I'm going on 3 weeks holiday, starting this Monday, so I'll be weighing in this Saturday. lol
Looking at my last result, I've put on about 6kg! Not happy, and I can feel every gram. lol.
Take care and looking for some participant motivators to help me.
My goal is 90kg and I'm about 106 - give or take the morning constitution and 2 cups of coffee. lol.

Good luck Rossco.
If this was 3 months ago I would be in. Oh well
Enjoy your holiday as well mate
Bump. Any takers apart from me?
Count me in. 99.5kg 23/10/14.
I've been on a bit of a weight loss journey recently, losing 40kg's in the last 6 months. I am to reach 90kg by new years.
Yeah rightO bring it on
I should do it but i love food.
I think i might possibly think about committing to joining in.
Maybe.
Righto both I and wife are loosing weight, so im in. But can I suggest a Friday weigh in. This way we can enjoy a weekend and work it off threw the week

I'm off on hols for 3 weeks now, so my next weigh in will be in 4 weeks time. It'll be interesting to see what my weight is at the next 'weigh in'
See you when I get back.
Take care out there.

Thanks to all the participants and thinkers.
There may be times when you will surge forward, and there may be times when you will take a step back.
I believe it's all about balance.
Don't be too hard on yourselves.
Rossco's quote...... "I always do my best. If my best, isn't as good as your, best, I'm sorry. At least I'm not slacking off!"
Take care out there.
Rossco
Right o.
Sadly, 126.5
Again I'll aim for 110. I think it'll be easier with the wife in on it this time.
She's on shakes though and using the csiro diet book.
But you wouldn't think we're dieting with the meals.
I'll take some pictures for ideas as we go.
good luck guys
I am sure your keeping that just to get the young blokes at work that reckon they're tough. Haha.
Let me know if you need some more mate and I ll get you another bottle
I use mine sparingly down to about a quarter left. No one will touch it at my work they won't even put it into their ding snags. Haha.
Good weight loss sauce if you put it in everything you won't want to eat it. Hahahaha
This thread is such a good idea!! I would have been on board a while ago but reached my goals finally :)
but here are some healthy versions of normal foods that helped me - I didn't cut too much out, just tried to make it healthier instead
- spag bol: cut out the pasta and had the bolognaise sauce on broccoli instead. Pasta doesn't have much flavour anyway, it's just a vehicle for the sauce I figured :) and spag bol sauce is pretty healthy if made with lean mince beef
- snacks: replace creamy dips with things like hommus, tzatziki, guacamole. And instead of crackers, have carrot/celery sticks.
- always had healthy snacks that can't go off (mixed nuts, protein bars) everywhere: on my desk at work, in my car, in my bag etc. so that whenever I got hungry (often haha), no excuse to duck into maccers etc
- drinks: instead of normal soft drinks had the diet version, had tea instead of coffees, totally still drank haha or the diet would be unsustainable ... but went for low carb beer/cider (e.g. Strongbow Clear, or Pure Blonde) or wine - less carbs than normal beer or like jack/coke cans
Anyway, just some things that helped me .. I still do a lot of them because it kind of became habit, and then I can eat other unhealthy stuff e.g. if out for dinner, and hope it will balance out :)
Monday 31st 117.3kg "wet weight" hahahaha
125.2.
Not to bad. I was expecting a rise.
