This is what happens when we have a couple of rums and then get sprung with an interview situation. A bit of a yarn about how it all started. For your amusement.

Gday Ben, are any of your distributors in WA going to have these at the Perth 4wd & Adventure show this weekend?
Yes mate, Go Camping and Overland will have them. Aaron is the man. And a really nice little setup they have over there too.
Also check with Norweld. Isaac is the man to see there. He might have a few in his grey truck. Nice bit of kit that too.
Opposite Lock are selling them for $129 at the Perth 4WD Show this weekend. Would have bought a couple more but spent me money on a new set of tyres for the Paj
Cool, that's about as good a price as you'll ever find mate. Shoulda grabbed em.
The old faithful Korean BBQ finally dropped its idler bearing and requires some more TLC....no stress, just throw a few boxes maybe needed onboard the empty bog stock GQ tray rear :-)

Does anybody by any chance stock these in Melbourne ??
G'day Hodge,
You could try Opposite Lock. They had a stack of them but not sure where they are up to now with that.
Alternatively we just freight them out at a flat rate of $20 on the East Coast.
Cheers mate.
I wanted one possibly on that day to show our managers how they can properly deck out some of our new fleet with your tubs.
But the morrons have since got onto el cheapo bunnings ones , which won't last a week...
Opposite lock Epping is up the road from me so I'll pop in there anyway and have a look / grab one for my self.
Thanks again.
No worries. Let me know if they don't have any. We haven't really got a permanent reseller in Melbourne/Victoria yet and need to work something out down that way.
Packed em up for schoolies...no camping pics as.little miss got a little pissed..http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...019/11/141.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...019/11/142.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...019/11/143.jpg

Reconfigured the old family wagon this afternoon since removing the Titan 85kg drawers a month or so ago now.

Managed to squeeze in so far:
80L Waeco old fridge
26L Engel freezer
2 x 20L HDPE water jerry cans
1 x camp stove
1 x camp table
1 x 120W Waeco old solar kit
&
4 x Expedition boxes up top.

Will fill in all the leftover nooks and crannies tomorrow now with bits and bobs and reckon sleeping bags and self inflator mattresses should jam up on top of 3 x Expedition boxes to the ceiling before dropping in the final fourth awesome box!

Approximately 1.5 sheets of ply used, and is relatively easy to install/remove if need be as long as you have the left barn door aftermarket bracket to open wider than stupid GU OEM design!

Forgot to add that I needed to extend forward 80mm this specific brand GU cargo barrier to fit the second rear row of Expedition boxes.

They fit like a pair of good gloves now [emoji106][emoji106]

FWIW: The ply box outer dimensions today were:
1125mm Wide x 930mm Deep x 540mm High and used 3 of the 6mm OEM bolt holes in the floor to secure down.
(There is a niggly notch on the floor sheet test first before building that needs to be cut out located on the right side pictured below)

Nice work! What sort of weight saving do you think you've achieved? There'd still be a bit of weight in the ply setup.
Not exactly sure Ben mate but I’d say 50kgish difference between Titan drawers and ply.
I’ve added that back in and then some more now with heaps of gear though :-)

Decided to give the little Engel freezer some better heat release holes as its motor is on the rear exhausting upwards unlike the Waeco exhausting to rear barn door gaps.
http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...020/01/133.jpg
Perfect gap found between the two rows of Expedition boxes and directly above the Engel exhaust.

Some 12mm x 12mm aluminium angle from Bunnings seems to stop the slide left and right.

Sleeping bags jammed hard on top of the first row and against the rear cage seem to negate the need for strapping down.

2 up front worked well on mine last hint. Kept the bugs off the rooftop tent.
Cable ties holding them on with just a cautionary ratchet strap while travelling which I am tempted to dump they haven't moved yet and only got cloths in themhttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...020/01/161.jpg

@matfew - you using them for clothes etc. up there?
Pretty handy set up. haven't seen them used like that before but works well with your RTT.
Yeah it's worked great while over here in tassie. Only 1 issue was in the rain it went straight into the wife's "wardrobe" when she opened it haha. Come off the roof of the tent just as she opened it up.
No dust no water have been awesome.
