Yep, we saw them up in the Kimberley, didn’t know they grew elsewhere too. Wikipedia calls it ‘Green Birdflower’ (as Tony did) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crotalaria_cunninghamii

@ Cuppa I think Les Hidden used those fluffy seeds to start a camp fire once ,
then used some very waxy nuts to help light his camp at night,
loved watching that guy
