looking into why my diff is wet... pumpkin had drops on the bottom of it but the whole diff is wet and the panhard rod is wet.... not black enough for engine oil but feels a bit thin to be diff oil. and clean straw colour... bungs are tight.

Give the diff and surrounding areas a really good clean with degreaser. Hopefully then you will be able to see where the oil is coming from. A little bit of oil can go a long way

front diff
will have to check that damper (its not even 1 year old.)
have sorta washed it down but will degrease it when i get a chance.. gotta fix the wifes car first.
I looked under the front of mine last month and the front diff was wet as,
Ive brought a new damper but havent fitted it yet.
have you recently done an oil filter change??
the splash plate hose empties right onto the diff left front
not sure with your motor though
no the oil change was done a while ago and only started leaking a week ago max probably on the weekend it started. was playing around newnes

ok so now looking at how to separate the luggage compartment from the cabin section.
needs to be solid to block air but not sight. so clear plastic screen
needs to be easily removed and stored.
thinking using the back seats and extend them up to keep the aircon near the people.
any ideas ?
well i found the leak. turns out its the diesel injector pump... looks to be a cover plate so not so bad but not happy jan.
on a happier note the valve clearances after 23 years or so are still .35mm
If you have a cargo barrier you could screw some clear flexible perspex to it.
Like they use on doorways in coolrooms or snack shops
