How far is it from one side of the country to the other?
See myself as lucky for filling my daily driver up for 1.49$ at south Gympie Matilda on my way home from Hervey Bay yesterday, everywhere else I saw on the way was at least 1.56+ !
I went down to Adelaide the other day and I was smiling from ear to ear I paid 1.35 for Diesel compared to 1.70 here in Broken Hill
what I cannot understand is I can buy beer here in Broken Hill and pay same price in Adelaide but fuel no way both have to cart if from Adelaide

Might have to park up the little TB45 petrol shorty runaround and get back full time in the TD42 old ute until this joke settles.
What sort of dollars around the globe are people paying today?

Pretty similar in Perth at the moment for petrol. Diesel about 162-169
How does that price on the hundreds work? On the first posts of this thread, it was like AUD 1.48 per liter I suppose. This price in hundreds is for what?
Apologies BZ Mate, fuel ⛽️ stations/bowsers over here ‘currently’ display cents, love how this Forum connects us all [emoji106][emoji106]
Keen to see a Brazilian digital fuel display if and when time permits Legend [emoji120][emoji120]

Between $1.629 and $1.749 for Diesel in my local area today.
Back in mid 2014 when I went north--diesel
Hervey Bay $1.60
Weipa $1.66
Bamaga $2.56 except 15c discount every 2nd Thursday according to some other travellers.
After filing up at Weipa, I got back to Musgrave roadhouse before heading west along New Dixie track to Walkers Creek.
Must do that trip again one day.
Mate I towed a camper trailer as did one other on the trip.Neither of us had a problem . Ran tyres at 15 to 18 PSI .
I have been looking at towing my caravan down it , and with the TRY HARD. My van is around 1800 to 2000 Kgs and yes I might get stuck on a couple of the bigger hills but I have a system where I can disconnect the van and tow it on a long tow rope if necessary. Have done it on a couple of trips where folks have gotten a little bogged with campers and vans on. Works pretty well. I dont think that you would have too many problems
