Major Service

Hi all

just wondering what gets done with a major service on my GU II Patrol 3.0
mine will be coming up for one within the next 10,000km, so i was wondering what exactly gets done for the prices you get given.
$1200 was the price i got from Robson Brothers 4x4

while we are on the subject what gets done with minor service aswell?

1200 sounds wxpensive what are you getting done. I was $400 for a service and rear brakes. you getting other oils dropped belts changed etc???

Just to give you an idea my mechanic did the 40000 service(big service every 40000) and it cost me $5000. I supplied the oil and filters. so all up $700.
This was on the CRD and the fuel filter was a lot more expensive then the Di

yeah its for a 40000km service. Its just about to tick over 240000.
so i thought i was due a major service.
do you mean $5000 or $500 lol
