Anyone on here can give advice as to why my ceilings are caving in?
Builder is walking away, so any fixers or flushers or supervisors, I would appreciate any advice.
Cheers the ferret.

Hey mate, what do you mean by ceilings?
What type of ceiling...Gable roof, flat roof, etc?
Is just the plaster sagging or the entire structure (beams, etc) sagging...
Termites, wood rot, water?
Take some photos mate and show us, I'm sure there's a few knowledgable people here who can help.
Do you have a man hole to get in and show us exactly whats going on?
Hi Andy, my sons house, the gyprock is falling down, house is 6 years old, cornices joined halfway along wall and not glued to wall.
Builder says "not his problem" The whole house has this problem.
I need some ammo for the BRB.
Cheers Rod.
as AB and roofy have suggested, Termites, wood rot, water, poor foundations
If its sagging or wood more lean towards water, wood rot, If its cracking and falling down I would lean towards poor foundations / ground shifting.
Pics please if able
Thanks guys, I'm trying to put the pics into jpeg, they are pdf atm.
Nothing wrong with the ground slab, I did the compaction,(that was my game fer 45 years) no termites, no water no vibration, no nutt'n
The glue has let go and very few screws.
The cornices have been joined mid wall. The gyprock is just falling away.
The builder is bound by warranty but says it's not his problem.
I just need expert opinion to go to the Builders registration board with.
Cheers Rod.
Definitely poor workmanship. Get stuck into him mate
If the builder sub contracted the gyprocking out it may not be the builders problem ( hope to be wrong) thats one way to pass the responsibility
