My GQ Patrol ain't pretty

Hello everyone

Well I picked up a 1991 Maverick sorry GQ Patrol for a road going shooting wagon, and she sure is ugly, but that's another story. Hoping to get her going and purring like a kitten. Once I get all the dog hair out of it and stench from the chain smoking old fella who owned it.
Anyway, might have a few questions for those that remember the bad old days of distributors and points etc.

Sounds a lot like my GU ute: Gutted the interior, Vacuumed out twice, scrubbed whole thing down with alcohol, then fitted vacuum formed vinyl upholstery from a company in Melbourne. Smell gone, mess gone, and easy to clean when you've been in and out of it with muddy boots.
