Have any ZD30 owners completly deleted their EGR coolers?

I hate removing the EGR cooler and putting it back in knowing it's redundant. A piece of dead weight in the engine bay, taking up valuable space :0

The reason it's still there is to connect the cooling pipes together, where the 19mm pipe tee's off an 8mm pipe for the volume control valve, also so it looks "legal"

So what I really need to find, or make is a 19mm straight through pipe with a reducing 8mm tee off to the cooling tube next to the fuel lines.

I'll update this if I find/make anything useful. I tell myself the next time I take the EGR cooler off, I'm leaving it off.
