Quick Intro
G'day everyone, I’m based in Sydney and currently on the hunt for my first MK SWB Patrol. I’ve always loved old-school 4WDs and I’m keen to find one as a project that I can also take off-road. I’ve been looking at a few options recently, including some SD33T models, and I’m excited to learn more about their quirks, strengths, and common fixes.
My plan is to get one running reliably, eventually set it up for some touring and trails, and I’m also really interested in experimenting with running biodiesel or waste vegetable oil. I’ve got plenty to learn, so I’m looking forward to picking up advice from people who’ve been around these trucks longer than me.
