Check the drum brake pads, springs, and actuators. If the springs are broken or the pads are stuck, the brakes will be weak or not work.
I think there is a pic in the manual that shows the arm in a roughly 90 deg position, they do get a lot of crap on them and rarely lubricated so maybe the mechanical mechanism is seized. The internals can also freeze up, there is a kit you can buy as they are absolute poison to buy new. Also if you have installed a lift there is a lit to lengthen the mounting bolt position to correct the action.Quote:
