Quick Vic High Country getaway

Capped off the Madigan that wasn't trip with my brother, down to Burgoynes Gap in Vic high country, had the entire valley to ourselves pre a long weekend, absolute joy, no motorbikes or guns or constant pressure from people driving into the campsite hoping it was empty. Water level down, easy crossing of the McAlister, no destroyed fan blades!
Brilliant weather, only one carp took the bait but escaped, killed a few cans and 2 bottles of whiskey, 4 bottles of red and happy days.
