Keyless ignition on 91 GQ TB42 Carby

Hey guys,

My ignition barrel is worn again and has not very loose, this would be the cars second one.

I have minimal things on my keyring (ignition key and a FOB for central locking), I don’t know what the previous owner had. I imagine this barrel is aftermarket too.

What have people here done for keyless ignition without removing the steering lock. I have a quick-disconnect steering wheel fitted for anti-theft anyway and everywhere I park there is CCTV.

If there are too many cons, I’ll just swap out all the locks.
