Introduction - Gu

Hi All,

My son and I just recently bought a 2003 Nissan Gu short base patrol tb42 unregister as a project to do up for his first car.

It has ridiculously big 37” tires on it (2” body) which caused damage to the front car and modification to the rear suspension mounts to the chassis which I have never seen before.

Spend 6 hours cleaning out the cab which I think has seen all its 20 years of live untouched.

Going to be an interesting project and looking forward to using this forum to support others and my son with their projects.

Please post some pictures of or GU and the suspension changes you mentioned if you have them! Surely something interesting to see.

i am potentially buying my first patrol 2004 Gu 3, any tips on what to look out for?, its done 269K klm.
