Hi all
Has anyone had experience with these radius arm replacements from roadsafe?

They look great on paper but I wonder what they are like for comfort, flex strength etc.?
I'm tossing up between these and the superior hybrids.
There is a bloke selling some on marketplace for fairly cheap, so if they're good I'd like to grab them.
Any advice would be appreciated !

Just bought some on @MB recommendation, not on car yet, but Mark can give you the low down. You may need a different front stabiliser bar though - I did.
The only benefit of these is the extra clearance. Which isnt really an issue in the first place. I've never been hung up on a drop box. Considering that these are about extra clearance, I'm going to assume the arm wraps around the axle housing tighter than a stock and other aftermarket arms. If this is the case the arm and housing will contact and bind up earlier when everything is twisted up.
For that extra clearance you get a shorter arm with an increased angle from the chassis mount to axle comparatively for any height, which is going backwards geometry wise and it will get worse with more lift. Amongst many other things and VERY generally speaking, a longer and flatter link is better

I have never ben hung up on my Drop Boxes either. In Tassie is did eat 2 sets of radius arm rear mushroom bushes though.... Used and abused though.
Personally a big fan for my specific needs, did buy them for my GQ coily ute front end a few years ago for circa $1,200 prior to smashing $1,000 track down in Tassie in under 6hrs with @MudRunnerTD Mate [emoji106][emoji106]
Pros and cons for my specific needs mentioned:
For:
#They achieved the 20mm forward radius length I required to fit my 35” KM2’s on a GQ with only needing to modify the lower rear edges of the front guards another 20mm, looks factory still with 32/33” tyres highway working.
#They are the only aftermarket radius arms that are ADR approved I believe?
#I’m lazy, castor correction for my maximum preferred 2” <> 3” lifts is incorporated into their design without the need for offset bushes.
#They run rubber bushes instead of polyurethane (aka brand name nolathane) of which I have been let down badly before with extremely poor longevity.
#Still running the same bushes after quite a few years of not only highway abuse but off-road idiocy.
Against:
#I believe they are now nearly $1,600 to purchase.
#They never mentioned that OEM sway bars do hit our GQ front tailshafts when flexing so an additional $700 I had to spend on a Superior drop down sway bar to gain full front end flex potential.
#They will not achieve performance big lifts if trying to go above 3” +++

I ended up getting them, they were brand new and I saved a heap. I'll see how they go.
