Not sure how viable of an idea this is, but one thing that has me curious is setting up a winch in a box or sled which connects to the front or rear of the vehicle with chains or an equaliser strap.

i have seen a winch mounted so that it went into a Hayman Reece style tow bar. they had receivers front and back ...
thats about all i know
Had a smaller winch set up to be used on an old 4wd Corolla. It worked well, but I found the wiring to be vulnerable to damage. It stranded us one day, when a cable got tangled and was ripped out.
The front/rear tow hitch concept as @Garret Mate kindly mentioned has been around for a long time @pollenface Mate.
It’s biggest downfall in the day was the physical weight of steel cable on a say pissy 8,000lb electric that would destroy a retirees back heaving it around from storage onboard to locations front and or rear.
Dyneema rope will surely assist your marketing plans and I believe you may be onto something with a ‘bridle’ type sling connection to rated points as many modern tourers would be near impossible to legalise a Hayman Reese type steel hitch afront within the technology advanced bullbars.
FWIW: I could personally see the benefits too of a portable sling type connection to the rear of campers/vans whom have ventured too far down a track if that makes sense?

In regards cables to it, maybe just follow many solar panel manufacturers supply design of Anderson Plug out, options of Alligator clip leada or direct Anderson <> Anderson extensions within their box/sling/bow kit ?[emoji106][emoji106]

A friend has that setup on his OKA, but needs very heavy electrical cabling which he has permanently installed on the vehicle so he can just plug the winch in at either end.
On my Brunny Cab Chassis I had a Reece Hitch point on the Bull Bar and the Winch was on a Cradle at the back on a 2nd Reece Hitch off the Chassis up under the tray (where it was normally stored) so I could winch from front or back.
Pull the pin, unplug the Anderson, move to whole shebang to the front hitch, plug it in, fit the pin and winch away... that worked a treat for me.
Having a Hitch Point on the front was also very useful for a towbar mount to manouver trailers in very tight spaces.
IMHO a sled idea would be a PITA to rig so everything stayed flat and square under load
