Oil blow
Hi Fellas
I just got home and was pulled up for 20 mins when I walked around to unload me Ute and noticed that I had oil all up under my Ute from the breather hose and a fair bit had dropped off on my drive way
I had just drove 70klms
I checked my oil and it was down about 1/3rd
Filled it back up started it and
My engine is ticking
It’s a 2001 GU Ute
4.2TD with bigger fuel pump
Biggest cross country intercooler
Biggest radiator
Stainless snorkel
4 inch intake
And 3 inch exhaust
Any ideas what I’ve done guys

Here’s hoping for you brother, terrible mechanic I’d be but fingers truly crossed it’s not from crankcase pressure, inner cylinders trying to get out :-(

Thanks brother
I’ve got em crossed
I’ve read a couple other forums and I have changed oil and it’s a bit overdue for a service
BUT I would think it would blow that much out
I’m thinking it blew a litre or two out in 70klms
I was punching it but only about
130
It will do 190klm
It’s got 255hp at rear wheels

I’m lost Stevo mate, doesn’t sound too good :-(

Oil blow
Hi mate
Havnt found for sure yet
But mechanic seems to think it’s
A turbo seal which is pressurising sump
But I should know more this arvo
Or tomorrow when I get home
It’s still starting fine
But is lacking a little power
Took the oil cap of and doesn’t seem
to Smokey, no more than usual anyway
But I’ll let ya know for sure when I find out
Cheers Stevo
