Y62 Timing Chains or Waterpump Noise when Motor Running but Not Driving?

Anyone have any knowledge of either of the above issues?

Mate has a noise in his Y62 and is trying to resolve what it is.

The older VK56 motors had issues with timing chains stretching on the LHS i think it was. Not sure about the newer versions.
Have a search on google and it will show up in a few of the US based forums (for the titan and frontier I believe)
