G'day from Perth
4WD vehicles over many years.......Series 3 petrol 6 cyl Landrover wagon, MQ LWB diesel wagon, GQ LWB wagon with Chev 6.5 l conversion, 60 Series Landcruiser diesel wagon, 80 Series Landcruiser factory turbo diesel GXL wagon, 100 Series naturally aspirated Landcruiser GXL waqon with aftermarket turbo/intercooler, 100 Series Landcruiser factory turbo GXL wagon, 200 Series Landcruiser twin-turbo wagon, Y62 Series 4 Ti Patrol.
I've driven in Australia and many other countries in many vehicles ranging from scooters to heavy farm machinery and semi's carting grain. I've also rallied in a Datsun 1600 and 240Z.
After about 40 years of camping throughout Australia and following many fantastic tracks (eg Canning Stock Route...6 trips, Len Beadell's tracks.....5 trips, etc), my wife and I now travel in much more comfort in an off-road caravan.
