The No.6
The No.6 is a Patrol GQ TD42
It's a '95 reg. and has a manual gear shift.
Why No.6 ? Because is the sixth Nissan patrol I've ever owned.
The story begines eleven years ago, when I bought my first Patrol - a LWB MK with the SD33 engine.

After that, I've bought a MK shorty which I cut finaly, because it was a rusted bucket.

In the next years, another 2 Patrols arrived in my yard, one long and another shorty, but they were used as work car, so ... no offroad pictures.
Finally, last year I had The No.5, a blue MK shorty, equiped with 35" Silverstone Xtreme and Procomp suspension.

On 31 Ianuary this year I found the No.6 for sale in United Kingdom. I watched it on ebay one week and finally I payed for it. I decided to buy it because the TD42 engine is quite rare in Europe, so I thought it was a deal. After 3 hours of flight, I finally saw it live on 14 February (Valentine's day) ...:bananarock:.
I've drive it home around 1800 miles and as soon as I arrived I started to modify it :
New wheels - 33/13.50/15 TSL LTB on Compomotive Wheels 10Jx15
New CB radio + antenna.
Full service including a repair of the rear locker and of the front axle. Filters, oils and all liquids ...
That's for now. It follows :
+5cm lift kit
front custom winch bar
a rear 1/4 cut and a custom bar
an electric winch
and ... maybe more ...
Some pictures "under construction" :

She is a very cool lookin shorty mate Are you allowed to drive on the roads with your tyres stickin out past the guards?

Normaly, I don't drive this car on the road. I am blessed because the tracks are starting from my backyard. Anyway, sometimes I am driving it on the road, too. The policemans here aren't so bad ... ;)
