sandwich oil plate for RD28T not found

Hi folks ! I need your help please :redface:

I search an sandwich oil plate for my engine but an engineer of nissan have think it was a pretty good idea to put a filter system with a 1-12unf threads :mad: ... it's the same size for trucks, agricole and industrial engine :frown:

So, of course, I can't find any plate that fit on this size of treads... after several research on google who make me crazy Bang Head the only resulat that I found is a relocation kit for Dodge Cummins with 1" inch thread but in 16 unf :(

So I came here on this side of the earth try to find the graal of our engine :biggrin: I've you got an idea or something to can help me ?

12 UNF translates into 12 threads per inch & 2.1mm thread pitch.
I'm not sure about that though.
Nissan usually follows standard common thread sizes. 2.1mm thread pitch for an oil filter looks bit too high.

This is the one I used for RB30. I believe RB30 & RD28 blocks are quite similar if not the same.

Yes, you're right.
It appears 12UNF sandwich plates is not out there.
You might be able to find a 12UNF to 16UNF adapter or a 12UNF center bolt to use
with the same sandwich plate.

If you type "RD28 oil filter thread size" into google. You may get some literature to point you in the right direction.

I've send a mail to BPS racing : expert dealer of rallye and racing sport cars parts in france, and they told me this thread type for oil systeme is so rare than nobody developped a systeme for this size... So I have no choice, I could do build a hand made system...

Anybody have earlier do something like this ?
